The juice of the whole plant is mainly used for conjunctivitis and other eye problems. Applied to the eyes, it has a mildly irritating effect that increases blood flow to the area, helping to strengthen resistance and clear away infection. It is also used for weak eyesight and for the early stages of cataract.
